Big compliments to the chef, the food is really great. All the dishes ordered were really very good. The service could be a little friendlier and more open, hence a star deduction.

Everything just fits here. We were there three times and always satisfied. From starters to dessert and attractive drinks. I regretted all the guests who went back because there was no space outside, they really missed something. The guest room is very cozy and very pleasant, especially when it's hot outside. The service was great, warm and very patient with the current Corona conditions. We would love to come back.

Nice restaurant right on the Hopfensee. The food (cheese soup & cheese spaetzle) was great. The Kaiserschmarrn & Dampfnudel are also recommended. Service team always with a smile :)

We were more than satisfied all round. The drinks were great and the food great. Great location overlooking the lake from the terrace.

Finally cheese spaetzle again that don't drown in sauce - very good. The other main course (napkin dumplings with mushrooms) was very little in my opinion, but that is a matter of opinion and there is no star deduction for it. Everything was great in terms of taste.

A great restaurant - very tasty food, nice service, beautiful location on the Hopfensee - just perfect! We are completely enthusiastic and were there several times during our vacation. Thanks for the nice evenings, we'll be back!

The Maucher’s has a solid regional cuisine and I highly recommend it. There is unfortunately a point deduction because the two dishes arrived at our table very late. Service was excellent and very attentive.

The personnel was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The worst part was the smell, we came out smelling like a roast and had to hang our clothes and coats out overnight to get rid of the smell. Drinks were ok, the food was also ok but not impressive. However, Everything was regional and fresh (not always delicious though). Prices are acceptable. The decor was classical and cosy but in the small room it was too loud with 80% capacity. I would NOT recommend it. There are other restaurants that offer friendlier atmosphere and much better food for the same price.

Very good value for your money. A place where you can meet and eat with locals, which I always see as a good indicator for a great restaurant. The choices may be not as manifold as some other places, but here at Maucher’s you’ll get great tasting, authentic local dishes for example. Heavily recommended to escape the tourist burdened restaurants in the vicinity of Neuschwanstein. Note: Me and my wife aren’t photo bloggers, so we took the attached photos a little bit after we already tried to exchange the tastes between us, to experience both dishes. Apologies for that.

Exceptionally good and friendly service. We arrived couple of minutes after they had closed their kitchen but they opened it up just for us. We had four warm meals and a shared dessert. The meals were really good and well priced. Our total was 65.8€ which I thought was more than reasonable. This place is a must go to if your in the area.
